The Campus Recruitment Committee (CRC), 2023, is pleased to announce the successful placement outcomes for the graduating Batch of 2023. Despite the challenges posed by the transition to an offline academic environment following the COVID-19 pandemic, 86 students have secured job offers from Domestic Law Firms, International Law Firms and Corporate In-House. Other students opted for Litigation, Clerkship, Higher Studies, UPSC or Judiciary Preparation. This is excluding those who chose alternative career paths despite having standing offers. The batch also saw multiple offers to made to student, and were only able to choose one. The average annual packages offered by domestic law firms ranged from INR 15 to 18 lakhs, while students joining corporate organizations as in-house counsels received packages between INR 8 to 16 lakhs. Furthermore, the annual packages offered by international law firms ranged from 42 to 60 lakhs. Additionally, several students from the Batch of 2023 pursued diverse career trajectories, including civil and judicial services, policy initiatives at leading domestic and international organizations, entertainment organisations and further studies at prestigious institutions in India and abroad.
The Batch of 2023 demonstrated remarkable resilience and patience in overcoming the unique challenges posed by the post-COVID-19 environment. Their unwavering trust and confidence in CRC 2023 served as a beacon for the committee during this period of transition. This outstanding achievement would not have been possible without the continuous support of the CRC and RPC members from both the previous and current batches. We remain deeply grateful to our faculty advisor, Prof. Dr. Anirban Mazumder, for his steadfast commitment throughout the recruitment process.
This success would have been unattainable without the constant guidance and support of our esteemed Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. N.K. Chakrabarti, the faculty, and both the administrative and non-administrative staff of NUJS. A special mention is owed to Ms. Nandini Biswas for her unwavering support. Lastly, we express our sincerest gratitude to the NUJS Alumni, whose confidence bolstered us during our most challenging moments.
The final class tally is only because of you.
